Bhool Bhulaiya, meaning 'labyrinth' or 'maze', is a renowned historical site found in several Mughal-ruled cities, including Lucknow and Delhi. This particular structure, an octagonal tomb, was commissioned by Akbar for Adham Khan. The site is famous for its intricate maze, which has led to many visitors getting lost without a guide. It was later occupied by Mr. Blake of the Bengal Civil Service, who relocated the original grave to accommodate his dining room. While the main chamber doesn't contain a maze, the basement chamber, where the actual grave is located, is designed in a complex manner. The site is approximately 12km from the city center, but conveniently located near a local market offering traditional Lucknowi clothing.
