Temghar Dam, located approximately 40 kilometers from Pune, is a significant water source for the city. Constructed on the Muthu River, the dam is characterized by its earthen construction and expansive reservoir. The surrounding landscape features lush, verdant hills, creating a picturesque setting. It serves as a convenient and frequently visited halting point for travelers en route to Lavasa, offering opportunities for photography and enjoying the natural beauty. Local vendors provide tea and snacks, enhancing the visitor experience. While generally peaceful, the dam can appear imposing during the monsoon season due to increased water levels.
There was nothing special about this speciality hotel and it was such a disappointment. The place was literally in ruins and it pinches me to see all my money goes to waste. The rooms were really dirty and unkept and the service was pathetic. I wont recommend this to anyone and it was the worst experience.
