The Morgaon Mayureshwar Temple, located approximately 80 kilometers from Pune in the village of Morgaon, holds immense religious importance for devotees of Lord Ganesha. It is the first temple in the Ashtavinayak circuit, a pilgrimage encompassing eight revered Ganesha temples in Maharashtra. The temple's architecture is distinctive, featuring four gates adorned with Ganesha imagery and a six-foot sculpture of a mouse. The idol of Ganesha within the sanctum has four hands, carrying symbolic items like a 'pasha' (noose), 'ankush' (goad), and a 'modak' (sweet). The presence of a Nandi (bull) in front of the temple is unusual for a Ganesha temple. The temple is believed to be built on the site where Lord Ganesha defeated the demon Sindhu.

We decided to visit this place and I think that because it was the weekend, it was too crowded. We were not able to have a good tour since so many people were there and it was not a very nice experience. The place seemed good but I guess the crowd ruined it for us.
Our journey to this place was nothing less than a magnificent memory. This is the most beautiful place I have visited and stayed. I have never experienced luxury like that and the hospitality was top notch. I am still so grateful for all the people who hosted us and took us on an incredible journey.

It is a great place to stay and gives you much luxury and comfort at a great price. The service is great and the management was very prompt and was very helpful and assisted us with everything. The rooms were big and spacious, well maintained and the views from the window of the city skyline was just stunning. Loved my experience here!
