The Ranganatha Temple, also known as the Vishnu Temple, is a rectangular shrine dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Situated close to Hampi Bazaar, it's often passed by along the riverside trek path. The temple features a stepped porch and, while the sanctum sanctorum is typically unlit, images within are visible during daylight hours through a metal grill door. It depicts Vishnu reclining on the serpent Ananta. While historically significant, the temple currently suffers from a lack of maintenance and preservation efforts.
We went to this amazing place and loved the view and the scenery. The place was really crowded as it is one of the most famous tourist attractions but you need to look out for pickpockets here because apparently a lot can happen here if you dont pay much attention.
