Kote Venkataramana Temple is a historic Hindu temple situated in the heart of Bangalore, near the City Market and Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace. Believed to have been constructed during the 17th century, possibly by the Mysore Kingdom or Chola rulers, the temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara. It is renowned for its elegant stone carvings, well-preserved structure, and the orderly manner in which religious ceremonies are conducted. The temple complex also includes a Hanuman shrine and hosts chariot processions during festivals like Vaikunta Ekadashi. Visitors appreciate the temple's cleanliness, peaceful atmosphere, and convenient access via public transportation.
The place is so beautiful that I could not take my eyes off it. The place is a heritage building which has stunning architecture and the Victorian style walls are simply amazing. We visited the place on a weekday and it had a lot of people. But things were arranged in a proper way and we could have the tour nicely.
