Chamunda Nandikeshwar Temple is a significant religious site in the Kangra Valley of Himachal Pradesh, dating back approximately 700 years. Dedicated to Goddess Chamunda, a fierce form of Durga, and Lord Shiva, the temple complex features a modern marble structure alongside the original, more difficult-to-reach shrine located higher in the mountains. The temple is situated on the banks of the Baner River, offering a peaceful atmosphere and scenic views. Renovation work is often ongoing, and the area includes a lake with boating facilities and space for gatherings. It is considered one of the five Devi Yatra sites in Himachal Pradesh, attracting devotees from across India.
Our visit to this[sight.name] was a nice and calming experience.Our guide was really great and made sure to keep sharing all the relevant information with us. The place is majestic and brings in so much peace and quiet within you.

The scenery, the greenery and the location seems to have come from a fairy tale book. It was always on my bucket list to visit this place and i am so glad to have done that. This place is filled with tourist attractions so you have a lot of options for sightseeing. We made a list of places we wanted to see and missed out on a few museums and other places.
