Nagar Ghadi, established in 1995, is a prominent clock tower situated in the heart of Raipur, at Ghadi Chowk. It serves as a major transportation hub and a central meeting point for locals. The tower is notable for playing traditional Chhattisgarhi folk songs every hour. While it has undergone renovations, it remains a bustling and often congested area, surrounded by government offices, food vendors, and shops. It's recognized in the Limca Book of Records for its unique musical chimes.
There was nothing special about this speciality hotel and it was such a disappointment. The place was literally in ruins and it pinches me to see all my money goes to waste. The rooms were really dirty and unkept and the service was pathetic. I wont recommend this to anyone and it was the worst experience.. This is one of the most iconic and interesting buildings of the city where the architecture of this place speaks volume of its importance. It is a great place to visit and its tour throws some light on the history and working of this place.. We planned our trip around this city keeping in mind that we have to make a check of all the iconic landmarks of the city since this place is full of it and by the end of our trip, we were glad to have done it all. It was an amazing feeling of accomplishment and we had a lot of fun enjoying our tour.
This was a beautiful park which has pretty scenery and lush greenery. It has walking pathways with proper trails lined with pretty trees and there are also plenty of benches to sit there for the people. The musical fountain was the highlight and it was amazing.
