Madhuri Lake, originally known as Sangetsar Lake, is a pristine freshwater lake situated at an elevation of approximately 15,000 feet in the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh, India. Formed by an earthquake, the lake is characterized by the striking presence of dead tree trunks protruding from its waters. It gained prominence after being featured in the 1995 Bollywood film 'Koyla,' starring Madhuri Dixit, leading to its popular nickname. The Indian Army maintains the area, providing a canteen with basic refreshments and contributing to its upkeep. The journey to the lake is challenging due to rugged roads, but the breathtaking scenery and tranquil atmosphere make it a worthwhile destination for visitors.
We went to this place after few of our friends suggested and we were spellbound by its beauty and scenic location. We were mesmerized by the scenes here and it was the most romantic experience I could have had with my partner. We loved it here.
This is such a good trip we had and this place is simply beautiful and amazing. The views from this place are breathtaking and we were just in awe of the beauty of this place. If you are someone who loves nature and natural surroundings then visit this place without fail because it will be the most rejuvenating experience of my life.. This place is filled with tourist attractions so you have a lot of options for sightseeing. We made a list of places we wanted to see and missed out on a few museums and other places. Overall we really liked the city and the places here and it was an amazing vacation with the family.

This is an excellent restaurant which is the new opening in the town and also the talk of the town. The delicacies prepared here are awesome and delicious. The chefs have all come from outside and serve the best of gourmet food. It was exotic and tasty array of food and I highly recommend this place to everyone. Just awesome!!

This place is worth visiting as this is an amazing natural wonder. You can plan a visit in the evening and stay here till midnight to witness some of the best views of the desert with twinkling stars. There are also a lot of options to stay here and enjoy the glory of camping and if you visit on a day of full moon, this place will truly look magical because of how this place glitters over the white sand.
Our journey to this place was nothing less than a magnificent memory. This is the most beautiful place I have visited and stayed. I have never experienced luxury like that and the hospitality was top notch. I am still so grateful for all the people who hosted us and took us on an incredible journey.

The hotel we stayed in was very warm and cosy and had the best views of the enchanting hills. There were so many scenic spots but the best was the sunset point which offered the best view from this place.
