Mylavaram Dam

The Mylavaram Dam is an irrigation project constructed on the Pennar River near Jammalamadugu. While the dam itself presents average views, its primary draw is the boating experience offered by APTDC, providing access to the scenic Gandikota canyon. The area also features a small archeology museum and a nearby Shiva temple. However, maintenance is a noted concern, and a previously available Haritha Resort is now closed. The dam's appeal is significantly enhanced during the rainy season when water levels are higher, facilitating boating.
