Diglipur Beach, more accurately Kalipur Beach, is located in North Andaman, approximately 17 kilometers from Diglipur town. It's characterized by its rocky shoreline, grey sand, and lush vegetation. While not as visually striking as beaches on Havelock or Neil Island, it offers a tranquil escape and is a significant nesting site for Olive Ridley turtles, particularly between November and February. The beach provides a peaceful atmosphere, with opportunities for observing crabs and enjoying views of Saddle Peak. It's generally less crowded than other Andaman beaches, appealing to those seeking solitude.
We were planning for this vacation for a long time and it was really wonderful. Visiting these amazing places was a unique experience and we could make a day out of it enjoying and having interesting conversations with the locals. The people were really hospitable and warm and made sure we don't feel left out.
This is a must visit place in the city and it is beautiful. The place is centrally located and you can easily reach it. The stories and the facts of this place are very interesting and make way for an entertaining tour.
We booked a tour package and thought that this would be a good way to see all the major sites of the city but it turned out to be nothing great. The tour bus stopped at all places but had not much time to make us roam around the area. Seemed like they were in a rush all the time and were not good with the local knowledge and culture. It was also expensive, which was not a great thing.
We had an experience of a lifetime at this vibrant city. The culture, the traditions, the warm people and their hospitality was beyond anything. It was amazing to visit this place and I loved everything about this place. I plan to visit this place again and again because I just fell in love with this place.

We were so excited to visit this place but were thoroughly disappointed while reaching and looking at the mismanaged affair. The place was crowded with tourists and there was no system to arrange them. The staff was also very rude.
