Rifugio Passo Principe is a small, charming hut situated at an altitude of 2,600 meters in the Catinaccio/Rosengarten mountain group. It serves as a popular stop for those exploring the Dolomites, particularly hikers tackling the Vajolet Towers or climbing the nearby via ferratas. The hut is known for its breathtaking panoramic views, especially its south-facing exposure, and its warm hospitality. The owner, Sergio Rossi, is an experienced alpine guide and often shares stories and advice with guests. While the food is described as average, the overall experience is highly valued for its location and ambiance.
