Mongonissi is a sheltered bay located on the southernmost point of Paxos, known for its unique sandy beach – a rarity on the typically pebbly coastline of the island. The beach is partially man-made, created by importing sand, and offers shallow, calm waters perfect for families with young children. Two tavernas provide food and drink service, and the bay is easily accessible by both road and boat, making it a popular destination for day trips. It's a favored mooring spot for yachts and offers a relaxed atmosphere.
This is the most scenic town in this city and we decided to take a weekend trip with our family and kids . The place is so nice and has so many interesting things to do and places to visit that you wont be bored at all. Overall, it made up for a perfect family vacation and we are glad to have chosen this place.
We were so excited to visit this place but were thoroughly disappointed while reaching and looking at the mismanaged affair. The place was crowded with tourists and there was no system to arrange them. The staff was also very rude.
