The Richtis Gorge is a captivating natural attraction located near Sitia, Crete. Unlike many of Crete's drier gorges, Richtis maintains water flow year-round, fostering a vibrant, verdant environment. The hike through the gorge leads to a picturesque waterfall and a natural pool, perfect for a cooling swim during warmer months. The terrain varies from relatively easy walking to some scrambling over rocks, making it a moderately challenging but rewarding experience. Access points exist at both the top and bottom of the gorge, offering options for different fitness levels and preferences.
We were so excited to visit this place but were thoroughly disappointed while reaching and looking at the mismanaged affair. The place was crowded with tourists and there was no system to arrange them. The staff was also very rude.
The market down to the bridge is really great and is the most liked place by all the tourists. It is the most happening place in the town and there are so many opportunities to shop here and have a good time. There are several local cafes and restaurants here as well where you can enjoy some delicious food. Really a nice place.

The rooms were big and spacious, well maintained and the views from the window of the city skyline was just stunning. Loved my experience here!

It was one the greatest experiences we had. We loved the place and more than the place the people were simply amazing. The hospitality and the warmth provided to us was beyond expectation and we are forever grateful.

This is an excellent restaurant which is the new opening in the town and also the talk of the town. The delicacies prepared here are awesome and delicious. The chefs have all come from outside and serve the best of gourmet food. It was exotic and tasty array of food and I highly recommend this place to everyone. Just awesome!!
This is a perfect hike with great trails and beautiful sceneries. Every view along the way is beautiful and if you dont soak in the beauty, you will miss it. There is a gorgeous waterfall along the trail where the pathways are paved perfectly for the trail. The hiking experience was outstanding and we really liked and enjoyed our time.

We were planning for this vacation for a long time and it was really wonderful. Visiting these amazing places was a unique experience and we could make a day out of it enjoying and having interesting conversations with the locals. The people were really hospitable and warm and made sure we don't feel left out.
