The Church of Saint Panteleimon is a late 13th-century Byzantine structure located southwest of the Rotunda. Originally part of the Monastery of the Virgin Peribleptos, it was transformed into the Ishakiye Camii mosque following the Ottoman conquest in 1548. The church features a cross-in-square plan and retains fragments of Byzantine frescoes. While the interior has been restored with modern elements, it maintains a serene ambiance. Remnants of its mosque past, including a minaret base and ablution fountain, are visible in the churchyard. It is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
