Narrenbrunnen

The Narrenbrunnen, or Fools' Fountain, is a distinctive public artwork located in the city. It consists of seven bronze sculptures of foolheads, each positioned at a different level, symbolizing the varying ranks within traditional Carnival societies. The fountain is designed to playfully represent a game of hide-and-seek. While the fountain was not actively flowing during some observations, it remains a notable landmark, particularly relevant during the Carnival season when the city embraces a more lighthearted atmosphere.
