The Rostock City Wall is a historical fortification that once encircled the Hanseatic city of Rostock. While not fully intact, significant portions of the wall remain, along with several impressive gate towers – Kropeliner Tor, Steintor, Kuhtor, and Petritor – three of which still stand. The wall has undergone restoration, particularly after WWII, and provides a walkable path through the city's past. Adjacent to the wall are the Wallanlagen, a beautiful park with playgrounds, ponds, and gardens, enhancing the visitor experience. The wall serves as a tangible link to Rostock’s medieval heritage and offers a pleasant walking route through the city.
