The Feldherrnhalle, located in Munich's Odeonsplatz, is a monumental loggia constructed in the 1840s by King Ludwig I as a tribute to the Bavarian Army. Inspired by the Loggia dei Lanzi in Florence, the hall features three Roman arches guarded by lion statues. Beyond its architectural beauty, the Feldherrnhalle holds considerable historical weight, serving as a backdrop for significant events, including the failed Beer Hall Putsch in 1923 and later becoming a symbolic site for the Nazi regime. Today, it remains a prominent landmark and a focal point for historical reflection.
