The Befreiungshalle Kelheim is a monumental hall constructed in the mid-19th century by King Ludwig I of Bavaria. It serves as a tribute to the victories against Napoleon Bonaparte and celebrates the ideals of freedom, unity, and liberty. Situated atop a hill, the hall boasts impressive architecture, rich marble decorations, and stunning views of the Alt Mühltal and the Danube Gorge. While currently undergoing renovations, the interior remains a beautiful and significant historical site. Access is possible by foot, bicycle, or car, with a moderate walk required from the parking area or Kelheim town.
Our journey to this place was nothing less than a magnificent memory. This is the most beautiful place I have visited and stayed. I have never experienced luxury like that and the hospitality was top notch. I am still so grateful for all the people who hosted us and took us on an incredible journey.

We were so excited to visit this place but were thoroughly disappointed while reaching and looking at the mismanaged affair. The place was crowded with tourists and there was no system to arrange them. The staff was also very rude.
This is an amazing historic structure which is an ancient building and has so much story associated with it that it becomes such an interesting and intriguing place to visit. We had our guide take us through the iconic landmark and it was quite an informative and fun visit. The place is truly a must see and I would recommend this to everyone.
