Jardin Romain is a reconstruction of a Roman garden, established in 2010 on the site of a discovered Roman villa dating back to the 1st century AD. Archaeological excavations in 1999 revealed the remains of a lavish garden, which has been faithfully recreated across 12,000 square meters. The garden is divided into eight thematic areas, each dedicated to a different Roman deity. A central feature is the 65-meter-long 'pond of agreement', paved with nearly 55,000 small clay briquettes. The site aims to provide visitors with an immersive experience of Roman garden design and lifestyle.
