Site Granet XXe, Collection Jean Planque, is an extension of the Musée Granet in Aix-en-Provence, dedicated to the holdings of art collector Jean Planque. Located in a former chapel, the museum showcases a superb selection of modern and contemporary art, including works by renowned artists such as Picasso, Van Gogh, Gauguin, and Monet. The collection reflects Planque’s close relationships with artists during his time as an art dealer. The building itself is a highlight, offering an airy and light-filled space to appreciate the art. Visitors often note the thoughtful curation and the informative descriptions provided in both French and English.
This is an amazing place and a must see for all the visitors. It is adorned with beautiful interiors and historic walls. The stories of the past of this building are incredible and the view is just awesome.
It is the most beautiful building I witnessed which is architecturally detailed. The building structure was royal and the building exhibits a regal vibe to it. Visiting this place was an amazing experience and the place is truly a stunning place.. We were so excited to visit this place but were thoroughly disappointed while reaching and looking at the mismanaged affair. The place was crowded with tourists and there was no system to arrange them. The staff was also very rude.. Went to this famous restaurant and ordered the special. The food was tasteful and delicious. The preparation was exotic and well put together. The flavors were just amazing and the wine selection was great. Loved it here.
