About About the place

The Escalier du Roi d'Aragon is a remarkable staircase of 187 steps hewn into the limestone cliffs of Bonifacio, Corsica. Legend states it was carved in a single night, allowing King Aragon's army to scale the cliffs and conquer the city. Today, it provides a challenging descent to a walkway along the sea, offering breathtaking views. While the bottom doesn't lead directly to sea level, the dramatic scenery and historical significance make it a popular attraction. Visitors should be prepared for a strenuous climb back up.

The cave is one of the major highlights of this place and once we were inside the cave, it was above and beyond our expectations. The views are stunning and we were lucky to see the heavens light from far. The weather inside can be a little humid but the beauty of it makes it worth it. Must visit place.

We were so excited to visit this place but were thoroughly disappointed while reaching and looking at the mismanaged affair. The place was crowded with tourists and there was no system to arrange them. The staff was also very rude.

It was one the greatest experiences we had. We loved the place and more than the place the people were simply amazing. The hospitality and the warmth provided to us was beyond expectation and we are forever grateful.
