Currently, only a limited number of tombs are open to the public, with the Tomb of Nefertari being the most famous and requiring a separate, higher-priced ticket. Visitors should be aware that photography is generally prohibited inside the tombs to protect the delicate artwork.
The Valley of the Queens is best suited for those interested in ancient Egyptian history, art, and culture, particularly those who appreciate detailed paintings and a more peaceful atmosphere. It's also a good choice for visitors who have already seen the Valley of the Kings and want to explore another significant burial site.
October to April offers the most pleasant weather.
Weekdays are generally less crowded than weekends. Early morning (as soon as it opens) or late afternoon to avoid the midday heat and crowds.
Accessibility is limited due to the uneven terrain and steps within the tombs. The site is not fully wheelchair accessible. Some pathways are improved, but navigating the area can be challenging for those with mobility issues. The tombs themselves are not accessible to wheelchairs.
The Valley of the Queens may be less engaging for young children compared to more visually stimulating sites. Stroller access is limited due to the uneven terrain. There are no dedicated changing rooms or kid-specific activities.
Pets are not allowed.
There are limited food and drink facilities onsite. It is recommended to bring water, especially during hot weather. Restrooms are available.
There was nothing special about this speciality hotel and it was such a disappointment. The place was literally in ruins and it pinches me to see all my money goes to waste. The rooms were really dirty and unkept and the service was pathetic. I wont recommend this to anyone and it was the worst experience.

Our journey to this place was nothing less than a magnificent memory. This is the most beautiful place I have visited and stayed. I have never experienced luxury like that and the hospitality was top notch. I am still so grateful for all the people who hosted us and took us on an incredible journey.
This is an amazing place and a must see for all the visitors. It is adorned with beautiful interiors and historic walls. The stories of the past of this building are incredible and the view is just awesome.
While making our itinerary, we included this place towards the end and thought that incase we are behind time, we will skip it. But thank God, we didnt because it was one of the greatest places to visit. Easily accessible, conveniently located, gorgeous location and the easy navigation for the entire tour of this place made it much more fun and enjoyable. I will suggest everyone to please visit this place.
We stayed in for one night here and the hotel was too expensive and not at all worth it. The place was a little crappy in shape and a lot of maintenance was going on and all the rooms were not even furnished properly. But we had no other option and had to stay therefore had to sacrifice and paid extra to stay a night.

This is a beautiful city which is known for its historic locations with so many stories associated with it. There are plenty of locations and lots to see here. It is a place where you will never be bored. Take a guided tour and make sure you visit all the places and trust me it will be worth it.
