The Regional Art Gallery in Liberec is a unique cultural institution born from the innovative repurposing of historic buildings. Originally a municipal bathhouse built in the early 20th century and later a swimming pool, the space was transformed into an art gallery in the 21st century. The gallery features two large exhibition halls and displays a diverse collection of art, ranging from medieval pieces to modern European works. A significant portion of the permanent exhibition is dedicated to the Liebieg family, prominent industrialists who played a key role in the development of Liberec. The gallery also boasts an Art Café on the ground floor, offering refreshments and a pleasant atmosphere. Free entry is available on Thursdays.
