Capuchin Church of Our Lady of Lourdes

The Capuchin Church of Our Lady of Lourdes in Rijeka is a prominent landmark constructed at the beginning of the 20th century (1904-1921) by the Capuchin order. Built on the site of a 17th-century church and a 15th-century Franciscan church dedicated to Saint Augustin, it commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of the Lourdes apparitions. The church is characterized by its striking red and white brick neo-Gothic façade and unfinished tower.
