The House of Two Saints is a significant architectural landmark in Porec, situated on St. Maura Street. Dating back to the late 15th or early 16th century, the building is distinguished by the sculptures of two saints on its front facade, which may have originated from an older sacral structure, potentially the St. Cassian Monastery. Originally, the house served as an exhibition space, displaying ancient artifacts like stone monuments and ceramic objects after a restoration in 1936. However, the collection was later moved to the Heritage Museum of the Porec territory. While the interior is currently inaccessible to the public, the exterior remains a captivating sight for those exploring the historic streets of Porec.
The place is so beautiful that I could not take my eyes off it. The place is a heritage building which has stunning architecture and the Victorian style walls are simply amazing. We visited the place on a weekday and it had a lot of people. But things were arranged in a proper way and we could have the tour nicely.
