Marafor Square, located at the end of Decumanus Street, serves as the vibrant heart of Porec's Old Town. Historically the site of the Roman Forum, remnants of this past are still visible. Today, the square is a bustling gathering place for both tourists and locals, surrounded by a variety of eateries, shops, and bars. It frequently hosts festivals and concerts, particularly during the summer months, and offers a pleasant ambiance for people-watching and soaking in the Mediterranean atmosphere.
We were so excited to visit this place but were thoroughly disappointed while reaching and looking at the mismanaged affair. The place was crowded with tourists and there was no system to arrange them. The staff was also very rude.
