The Roman Ruins of Poreč represent the surviving fragments of the ancient Roman Forum, dating back to the 1st century. The site consists of a few standing columns, sections of low walls, and scattered stone pieces, including a partial temple structure. While modest in size, the ruins offer a tangible connection to the city’s Roman past. Located near the sea and tucked away within the old town, the site is freely accessible and provides a peaceful escape from the more crowded tourist areas. Information about the site is limited, making it a destination best appreciated by those with a pre-existing interest in Roman history.
The place is so beautiful that I could not take my eyes off it. The place is a heritage building which has stunning architecture and the Victorian style walls are simply amazing. We visited the place on a weekday and it had a lot of people. But things were arranged in a proper way and we could have the tour nicely.
