St. Mark's Church is a central landmark in Makarska, situated on the town's main square, Kacic Square. Originally a cathedral, this baroque church dates back to 1756 and is easily recognizable due to its location and historical significance. While not overly ornate, the church provides a cool, quiet interior and serves as a focal point for local activity. The backdrop of the Biokovo Mountains adds to its scenic appeal. It is noted as a place where concerts and religious services are held, and is often surrounded by cafes and restaurants.
There was nothing special about this speciality hotel and it was such a disappointment. The place was literally in ruins and it pinches me to see all my money goes to waste. The rooms were really dirty and unkept and the service was pathetic. I wont recommend this to anyone and it was the worst experience.
The cathedral is hundreds of years old and has a magnificent architecture. The murals and the walls are simply stunning. We got a chance to witness the prayer ceremony and it was divine. Do visit this place and do enjoy it.
