The statue of Grgur Ninski in Varazdin is one of three sculptures created by renowned Croatian sculptor Ivan Mestrovic. It depicts Grgur of Nin, a 10th-century bishop who championed the use of the Croatian language in church liturgy. The statue was gifted to the city of Varazdin in 1931. A popular tradition among visitors is to touch the toe of the statue, believing it will bring good fortune. While smaller than the famous version in Split, it remains a notable landmark in Varazdin's Old Town.
