Handicraft Street

Handicraft Street is located within the reconstructed Old Town of Kashgar, a historically significant city in Xinjiang, China. While the architecture is largely new, the street remains a bustling hub for local artisans and vendors. Visitors can find a variety of traditional crafts, including carpets, pottery, musical instruments, and clothing. The street is also known for its tempting street food, such as Kashgar-style meat pies and freshly squeezed pomegranate juice. Be aware that entry and exit to the Old Town involve ID checks.
