The Shandong Museum, located in East Jinan, is a state-of-the-art facility designed in a traditional style. It houses an extensive collection of artifacts representing Shandong's long and significant history, including impressive displays of Ming and Qing dynasty clothing, particularly from the Confucius family. The museum also features Han stone tablets, items from the Stone and Bronze Ages, and a gallery dedicated to prehistoric life. Beyond its permanent collection, the museum regularly hosts special exhibitions, including those featuring cultures from around the world, such as ancient Egypt. Admission is free, and audio guides are available for a deposit.
