The Leal Senado building, officially known as the Instituto para os Assuntos Cívicos e Municipais, is a significant historical landmark in Macau. Constructed in the late 18th century, it served as the seat of the Macau government for many years under Portuguese rule. The building has undergone careful restoration and maintenance, preserving its distinctive Portuguese architectural style. Visitors can explore the interior courtyard, admire the intricate Portuguese tilework (azulejos), and learn about Macau’s rich cultural heritage. Originally, a Chinese-style pavilion occupied the site, used for meetings between Portuguese and Chinese officials.
The cathedral is hundreds of years old and has a magnificent architecture. The murals and the walls are simply stunning. We got a chance to witness the prayer ceremony and it was divine. Do visit this place and do enjoy it.
Our journey to this place was nothing less than a magnificent memory. This is the most beautiful place I have visited and stayed. I have never experienced luxury like that and the hospitality was top notch. I am still so grateful for all the people who hosted us and took us on an incredible journey.

The place is a heritage building which has stunning architecture and the Victorian style walls are simply amazing. We visited the place on a weekday and it had a lot of people. But things were arranged in a proper way and we could have the tour nicely.

This is a beautiful city which is known for its historic locations with so many stories associated with it. There are plenty of locations and lots to see here. It is a place where you will never be bored. Take a guided tour and make sure you visit all the places and trust me it will be worth it.
