Ta'xia Village, situated approximately 7 kilometers from Tianloukeng, is a historic settlement dating back to the Ming Dynasty, originally built by the Zhang family. The village centers around a picturesque river and serves as a commercial hub for the surrounding Tulou area, providing accommodation, dining, and shops. De Yuan Tang, the ancestral hall, is a notable landmark reachable by a short climb. The village offers a more authentic experience than some of the more heavily touristed Tulou clusters, retaining a sense of community and local life.
