Vratsa Historical Museum

The Vratsa Historical Museum, established in 1953, is a comprehensive institution dedicated to the history and cultural heritage of the Vratsa region. Its collections span from prehistoric times to the Bulgarian Revolution, with a particular emphasis on Thracian artifacts, including the renowned Rogozhen Treasure – the largest collection of Thracian silver vessels ever discovered. Exhibits also cover Iron Age excavations and the development of the region through various historical periods. The museum is divided into sections that chronologically trace the area’s evolution, offering visitors a detailed understanding of its rich past.
