Clock Tower

The Clock Tower of Plovdiv is a prominent landmark located on Sahat Tepe, one of the city’s seven hills. While the tower itself is not open for internal access, it serves as a focal point for a pleasant walk and provides expansive views of the surrounding urban landscape. The hill is easily accessible, though involves some climbing, and is situated near the Great Mosque within a park setting. Visitors appreciate the scenic vistas, but some note the presence of graffiti detracts from the overall experience. It is considered one of the oldest clock towers in Europe.
