Nermine Dodi is a statue located in Veliki Park in Sarajevo, dedicated to the memory of a father and son who perished during the Srebrenica massacre in 1995. The sculpture depicts the father calling out to his son, a heartbreaking representation of a desperate plea for survival. The statue serves as a powerful reminder of the devastating consequences of the Balkan wars and a tribute to the victims. It is situated near the Monument to the Children of Sarajevo, creating a somber and reflective space within the park.
It is a great place to stay and gives you much luxury and comfort at a great price. The service is great and the management was very prompt and was very helpful and assisted us with everything. The rooms were big and spacious, well maintained and the views from the window of the city skyline was just stunning. Loved my experience here!
Visiting this place has been a very emotional ride since it brings back all the bad memories of old time on how so many people lost their lives and became victims. But nevertheless it is a must visit place because it makes you feel things you never have before.
