Ordnance Island is a historically significant islet located in St. George's, Bermuda. It serves as a reminder of the island's role in early colonial history, particularly the shipwreck of the Sea Venture in 1609 and the subsequent founding of the Somers Isles (Bermuda). The island is home to a full-size replica of the Deliverance, a ship built by the survivors of the Sea Venture to reach Jamestown, Virginia. A statue of Admiral Sir George Somers, a key figure in Bermuda's history, also stands on the island. While small in size, Ordnance Island offers visitors a glimpse into Bermuda's past and provides a pleasant spot for relaxation and harbor views.
