Island of Birds

The Island of Birds is a green space located centrally in Minsk, created to provide a comfortable living environment for a diverse range of bird species, including some listed in the red book. Elevated pathways allow visitors to explore the island without disturbing the wildlife, and numerous birdhouses, along with habitats for bats and squirrels, are integrated into the landscape. The island is accessible via a sixty-meter bridge illuminated at night. Access is limited to specific hours daily. While aiming for a natural experience, some find it less engaging than more traditionally landscaped parks.
