The Pearling Path is a 3.5 km trail on the island of Muharraq, Bahrain, connecting 17 historic buildings recognized by UNESCO for their significance to the region’s pearling heritage. The path is marked with blue paving stones, recessed lighting, and signage, guiding visitors through the historic heart of Muharraq. It offers a glimpse into the lives of pearl merchants and divers, and the economic and social impact of the pearling industry. The trail is currently under development, with ongoing construction impacting the visitor experience.
