John Flynn's Grave Historical Reserve is a simple yet poignant memorial dedicated to Reverend John Flynn, a pioneer in providing medical care to remote Australia. Flynn founded the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Australian Inland Mission, significantly impacting the lives of those in the Outback. The memorial consists of a large boulder, originally sourced from the Devil's Marbles but later replaced with a local stone, marking his final resting place. The site offers views of the MacDonnell Ranges and serves as a reflective stop for visitors.
This place is filled with tourist attractions so you have a lot of options for sightseeing. We made a list of places we wanted to see and missed out on a few museums and other places. Overall we really liked the city and the places here and it was an amazing vacation with the family.
