Hambledon Cottage is a historic house museum located in Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia. Originally built around 1824, it served as a governess's cottage on the MacArthur estate. Today, it is a carefully restored example of early colonial architecture, offering visitors insight into the lives of those who lived and worked in the area during the 1800s. The cottage is set within a picturesque garden featuring mature trees, including some of the oldest non-native plantings in Australia. Guided tours, led by knowledgeable volunteers, provide detailed historical context and anecdotes about the property and its inhabitants. It is part of the Harris Park Heritage walk.
