Cerro Colorado is the most frequently hiked peak in the area, reaching an elevation of approximately 1800 meters. The trail is generally well-maintained, having undergone improvements between 2016 and 2017. The ascent is consistently steep, covering 770 meters in altitude. While not technically difficult, a reasonable level of fitness is required. The summit can be quite windy, so appropriate clothing is recommended. The trail is easily navigable and offers rewarding views for those who complete the climb.
