The Costanera de Formosa is a 2-kilometer riverwalk along the Paraguay River, providing a scenic space for leisurely strolls and views of the neighboring Paraguayan shore. The promenade is lined with trees and benches, creating a relaxing atmosphere, particularly during the late afternoon and early evening. Nearby attractions include a Nativity scene, a recreation of the Last Supper, and modern grain elevators. The area offers a glimpse into local life, with people gathering to watch ferries cross the river. The drive to Formosa itself provides views of the unique Chaco landscape.
There was nothing special about this speciality hotel and it was such a disappointment. The place was literally in ruins and it pinches me to see all my money goes to waste. The rooms were really dirty and unkept and the service was pathetic. I wont recommend this to anyone and it was the worst experience.
The cathedral is hundreds of years old and has a magnificent architecture. The murals and the walls are simply stunning. We got a chance to witness the prayer ceremony and it was divine. Do visit this place and do enjoy it.
