Boggy Peak, also known as Mount Obama, is the highest point in Antigua. It's accessible via hiking trails and a steep, poorly maintained road suitable for 4x4 vehicles. The hike, originating from Jennings Road or Cade's Bay, typically takes between one and two hours to reach the summit. While the view from the top isn't consistently spectacular due to foliage and communication towers, it provides panoramic perspectives of the island. Visitors often note the difficulty is overstated, but the heat and humidity present a significant challenge. A circular Ridge Trail offers a longer descent. Access to the highest point may require navigating a fence, as the area is sometimes restricted.
